Dada Bhagwan, born as Ambalal Muljibhai Patel in 1908 in India, was a revered spiritual leader and the founder of the Akram Vignan movement, a spiritual science focused on self-realization through grace rather than traditional practices. A humble and devout man, he experienced a profound spiritual awakening in 1958, which led him to share his insight into the nature of the Self and the path to liberation. Emphasizing non-violence, equanimity, and inner purity, his teachings have inspired thousands. He passed away in 1988, leaving behind a legacy of peace and practical spirituality.

"One with more insight (sooj) is considered wise. To have more insight [sooj] is a natural gift. One may have more sooj but may have no intellect."
"Where there is kashay, they are all considered heaps of parigraha (worldly possessiveness); whether one is living in the Himalayas or in a cave. Where there is absence of kashays, there is absence of possessiveness; even if one is then living in a palace!"
"It is called as 'discharge' (karma) when one has to do it compulsorily and against his wishes."
"Everything is present in the world. However, your 'emotional state' does not allow it to come to you. 'Emotional' as in instability. While going to eat, one will worry, 'will I get food or not?' That indeed is instability. If you remain stable, then everything will come to you."
"To have the inner intent to die early is artadhyan (adverse contemplation) as well as raudradhyan (wrathful contemplation) and to have the inner intent to not die is also artadhyan and raudradhyan.One should disembark when the 'station' arrives. "For how long will you keep on wandering around for infinite lifetimes? Your own light is not there. For how long will you keep on wandering in the dark? "Shukladhyan (pure contemplation of the Self, the Soul) means focused awareness of the eternal form of the Self, the Soul. Dhyan (contemplation or one's focused effort) is a natural thing. And in pure applied awareness as Pure Soul (shuddha upayog), one must do spiritual effort with awareness of the separation of the Self and non-Self."
"One has to attain an ego-less state (nir-ahankari), attaining a nir-maani state (a desire-free state that wants importance from others) is not enough. The egoism one has of being nir-mani is very subtle. The external 'horns' are worn down but the internal ones still remain. The inner 'horns' will cause an internal biting."
"If you say that you have accepted defeat, the world will let you go. 'We' have discovered this. Because, we had tried to win over the world and in doing so, we had to go through many incarnations. And in the end, I said that I have acknowledged defeat and settled down."
"This worldly knowledge is not called (Real) Knowledge. It is worldly knowledge. The scriptural knowledge is known as the instrumental knowledge. "Egoism's nature is not Moha (Illusory attachment). Moha's (Illusory attachment's) nature is egoism. Moha is the origin of egoism."

"Prakruti [the relative self, innate nature] has opinions and may store them but we should stay in an opinion-free state. 'We' are separate and the relative self is separate from us. 'We' should play our part as a separate entity. We shouldn't get involved with those problems."
