Benjamin Spock was an American pediatrician and author, born on May 2, 1903. He is best known for his book The Common Sense Book of Baby and Child Care, which revolutionized parenting advice in the 20th century. Spock's approach emphasized understanding and nurturing children, making him a trusted figure among parents. He also advocated for social change and children's rights throughout his life, passing away on March 15, 1998.
