Robert T. Bakker is an American scientist born on December 24, 1938. He is a prominent paleontologist known for his work on dinosaur behavior and physiology. Bakker's research has contributed to the understanding of dinosaurs as active, warm-blooded animals. He is also known for his popular science writing, including the influential book The Dinosaur Heresies, which challenged traditional views of dinosaurs and their extinction.
