Mel Tillis was an American country music singer and songwriter known for his distinctive stutter and prolific songwriting. With a career spanning several decades, Tillis produced numerous hit songs, including "Coca-Cola Cowboy" and "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town." His contributions to country music earned him several awards and a place in the Country Music Hall of Fame.
