Warren E. Burger was an American judge born on September 17, 1907. He served as the 15th Chief Justice of the United States from 1969 to 1986. Burger is known for his efforts to improve the efficiency of the judicial system and for his role in landmark cases related to civil rights and freedom of speech. His leadership on the Supreme Court has had a lasting impact on American law. He passed away on June 25, 1995.
