Marie Curie was a Polish scientist born on November 7, 1867. She is best known for her groundbreaking research on radioactivity, becoming the first woman to win a Nobel Prize and the only person to win in two different scientific fields (Physics and Chemistry). Curie's discoveries, including radium and polonium, significantly advanced the understanding of atomic science. Her dedication to science and her pioneering work have left a lasting legacy, inspiring future generations of scientists. She passed away on July 4, 1934.
