Mako was a Japanese actor and voice artist born on December 10, 1933. He is known for his roles in films such as The Sand Pebbles and The Last Samurai. Mako was also a prominent voice actor, lending his voice to characters in animated films and series, including Avatar: The Last Airbender. His talent and contributions to both live-action and animated projects have made him a respected figure in the entertainment industry. Mako passed away on July 21, 2006, but his work continues to be celebrated.
