Louise Fletcher was an American actress best known for her Academy Award-winning performance as Nurse Ratched in the 1975 film "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest." Her portrayal of the cold, authoritarian nurse became one of the most iconic and chilling villains in cinematic history.
