Howard Keel was an American actor and singer known for his rich baritone voice and his roles in classic MGM musicals such as Show Boat, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, and Annie Get Your Gun. Keel's charismatic screen presence and powerful singing made him one of the most popular musical stars of the 1950s. He later found success in television with his role in the long-running series Dallas. Keel's legacy in both film and television continues to be celebrated by fans of classic Hollywood.
