Glenn Miller was an American big band leader and trombonist who became one of the most popular bandleaders of the swing era. His orchestra's distinctive sound and numerous hits, such as "In the Mood" and "Moonlight Serenade," made him a prominent figure in 1930s and 1940s music. Miller's contributions to jazz and dance music were significant, and his influence is still recognized in the world of big band and swing music.
