Born September 3, 1970, in Chicago and raised in Detroit, Eric Thomas overcame homelessness after dropping out of high school to earn his GED and a Ph.D. from Michigan State University. Known as 'ET, the Hip? Hop Preacher', he rose to prominence via electrifying speeches such as 'You Owe You', which resonated on YouTube and beyond. A motivational speaker, author, consultant, and minister, Thomas founded a coaching firm focused on empowering youth, athletes, and working professionals.
