Ursula K. LeGuin was an American author born on October 21, 1929. She is best known for her works of science fiction and fantasy, including The Left Hand of Darkness and the Earthsea series. LeGuin's writing often explores themes of gender, society, and human nature, earning her critical acclaim and numerous awards, including the Hugo and Nebula Awards. Her contributions to literature have made her a beloved figure among readers and writers alike. Ursula passed away on January 22, 2018, leaving behind a rich legacy in literature.
