Thomas Ken was an English clergyman born on July 21, 1637. He is best known for his contributions to hymnody and is often regarded as the "father of English hymnody." Ken wrote many hymns, including the famous "Praise God from Whom All Blessings Flow." His work has had a lasting influence on Christian worship and music. Ken's legacy continues through the hymns that are sung in churches around the world.
