Paul Dirac was a British physicist who made fundamental contributions to quantum mechanics and quantum electrodynamics. He is best known for the Dirac Equation, which describes the behavior of relativistic electrons and predicted the existence of antimatter. Dirac's pioneering work in theoretical physics earned him the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1933, and his research continues to be a cornerstone of modern physics.
