Nick Rhodes is an English musician and a founding member of the synth-pop band Duran Duran. As the band's keyboardist, Rhodes has been instrumental in crafting their distinctive sound, contributing to hit albums like "Rio" and "Seven and the Ragged Tiger." His innovative use of synthesizers and electronic music has made him a significant figure in the evolution of pop music.
"I got this idea about being afraid to let go of something and being afraid of sinking into a state of almost anesthesia, where you have to trust other people. Just the paranoia of it all. And it seemed to suit the frenetic track. So I just wrote it out and, you know, said it."
