Martha Reeves is an American musician born on July 18, 1941. She is best known as the lead singer of the Motown group Martha and the Vandellas, famous for hits like "Dancing in the Street" and "Heat Wave." Reeves' powerful voice and energetic performances helped define the sound of Motown in the 1960s. She continues to perform and is celebrated for her contributions to music and the legacy of Motown.
