Ice T, born Tracy Marrow, is an American rapper, actor, and producer who is regarded as one of the pioneers of gangsta rap. His music often addresses themes of inner-city life, crime, and social issues, with his 1992 album Body Count sparking significant controversy for its track "Cop Killer". Ice T has also enjoyed a successful acting career, notably starring as Detective Odafin Tutuola on the long-running television series Law & Order: SVU. His work in both music and television has made him a multifaceted entertainer and cultural figure.
