Goh Chok Tong is a Singaporean statesman who served as the Prime Minister of Singapore from 1990 to 2004. His tenure was marked by significant economic growth and modernization in Singapore. Goh's leadership was instrumental in continuing the policies of his predecessor, Lee Kuan Yew, and in strengthening Singapore's position as a global financial hub. His contributions to Singapore's development and governance have been widely recognized.
