Bainbridge Colby was an American public servant and politician who served as Secretary of State under President Woodrow Wilson from 1920 to 1921. He was instrumental in advocating for women's suffrage and played a key role in the ratification of the 19th Amendment, granting women the right to vote. Colby's efforts in promoting democracy and international cooperation marked his tenure, and his legacy in public service continues to be recognized.
