Anita Borg was an American computer scientist and advocate for women in technology. She founded the Institute for Women and Technology (now AnitaB.org) to support and promote women in computing fields. Borg's work in advancing women's participation in technology and her contributions to computer science research have had a significant impact on the industry, inspiring many to follow in her footsteps.
