Al Capp was an American cartoonist best known for creating the popular comic strip "Li'l Abner." His strip, which ran from 1934 to 1977, depicted the humorous and satirical adventures of characters in the fictional town of Dogpatch. Capp's sharp wit and social commentary made "Li'l Abner" a significant part of American popular culture. His work influenced other cartoonists and remains a notable example of American comic strip history.
