Uta Hagen was a German-American actress born on June 12, 1919. She is known for her work in theater and film, particularly for her roles in productions such as A Streetcar Named Desire and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?. Hagen was also a respected acting teacher, sharing her techniques with aspiring actors. Her contributions to the performing arts have earned her recognition and admiration in the theater community. Uta Hagen passed away on January 14, 2004, leaving a lasting impact on acting and education.
