Spiro T. Agnew was an American politician who served as the 39th Vice President of the United States under President Richard Nixon. Known for his outspoken conservatism and his controversial rhetoric, Agnew became a polarizing figure during his time in office. He resigned from the vice presidency in 1973 amidst allegations of corruption, leaving behind a complicated legacy in American political history.
