Paul Winchell was an American entertainer whose diverse talents included ventriloquism, acting, and voice work. He gained fame as a ventriloquist with his puppet, Jerry Mahoney, and was a popular figure on television during the 1950s and 1960s. Winchell also lent his voice to iconic animated characters, including Tigger in Disney's "Winnie the Pooh" series.
