Larry Harvey was an American celebrity born on January 11, 1948. He is best known as the co-founder of the Burning Man festival, an annual event that celebrates art, community, and self-expression in the Nevada desert. Harvey's vision for Burning Man emphasized creativity and radical self-reliance, making it a unique cultural phenomenon. His contributions to the festival and its principles have influenced many and continue to inspire participants around the world. Larry passed away on April 28, 2018, but his legacy lives on through the festival.
