Ken Curtis was an American actor born on July 2, 1916. He is best known for his role as Festus Haggen on the television series Gunsmoke. Curtis was also a talented singer and performed with the Sons of the Pioneers, a popular Western music group. His contributions to film and television have made him a beloved figure in the entertainment industry. Ken passed away on April 29, 1991, leaving behind a legacy of memorable performances.
