Henry Bolingbroke, also known as Henry IV of England, was a king who ruled from 1399 to 1413. His ascent to the throne marked the end of the Plantagenet dynasty and the beginning of the Lancaster dynasty. Bolingbroke's reign was characterized by internal conflicts and challenges to his authority. Despite these issues, his leadership and political maneuvers shaped the course of English history during his time.
