E. Howard Hunt was an American operative and writer, known for his role in the Watergate scandal. A former CIA officer, Hunt was involved in the planning and execution of the break-in at the Democratic National Committee headquarters. His involvement in the scandal led to his conviction for conspiracy and burglary. Hunt's actions and subsequent testimony were pivotal in the investigation that uncovered widespread political corruption.
