Cliff Shaw was an American computer scientist known for his work in the development of artificial intelligence and computer programming. He was a key contributor to the creation of the programming language LISP and the AI program General Problem Solver (GPS). Shaw's pioneering efforts in computer science have had a lasting impact on the field.
