Benjamin E. Mays, an American educator and civil rights leader, dedicated his life to fighting for equality and justice in education. As the president of Morehouse College, Mays mentored young leaders, including Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., and championed the importance of education as a vehicle for social change. His lifelong commitment to improving the lives of African Americans through education and activism has left an indelible mark on the fight for civil rights.
