Belle Boyd, known as "Cleopatra of the Secession," was a Confederate spy during the American Civil War. Using her charm and intelligence, she gathered and passed on crucial information to Confederate forces, often at great personal risk. After the war, Boyd's exploits were celebrated in her memoirs and public lectures. Her daring actions and contributions to the Confederate cause have made her a legendary figure in Civil War history.
