Alfred Jodl, a high-ranking German military officer during World War II, served as Chief of the Operations Staff of the Armed Forces High Command. As one of Hitler's closest military advisers, Jodl played a key role in planning and executing Germany's military campaigns, including the invasion of Poland and the Battle of Normandy.
