Albert Speer was a German architect and Minister of Armaments for Nazi Germany. He was responsible for designing many of the regime's grandiose architectural projects and was a key figure in managing war production. After World War II, Speer was convicted at the Nuremberg Trials for his role in the Nazi government and served 20 years in prison. His post-war writings and reflections on his time with the Nazi regime provide insight into his complex legacy.
