Alan Young was an English actor best known for his role as Wilbur Post on the television show "Mr. Ed," which aired from 1961 to 1966. His charming portrayal of the character, who converses with a talking horse, made the show a hit and earned him widespread recognition. Young also had a successful career in film and voice acting, including notable roles in "The Time Machine" and as the voice of Scrooge McDuck in Disney's animated series.
